3. Wireless Network Design
Martindale personnel will help you achieve a reliable and accurate
wireless network design. We have capability with 802.11a, b and
g, GSM, CDMA and GPRS protocols. We can help you design and install
a wireless network that will be manageable and meet your needs.
We offer wireless site surveys, and our personnel are authorized
Cisco Wireless providers. Because of our track record of stability
and reliability since 1976, you can rest assured that we will be
available for any system maintenance or enhancement needs you may
have once your system is operational.
Some of our more common wireless network applications include:
• Handheld barcode readers
• PDA synchronization
• Radio frequency identification
• Wireless handheld computers
• Wireless PDA's
• Process automation
• Manufacturing automation
• Remote monitoring
• Vehicle tracking
4. Wireless Site Survey
Our design experts will test all areas of coverage with instruments
and software, then analyze the results to determine what equipment
is needed and where wireless access points should be placed to achieve
the level of coverage desired. On completion of the survey, you
will receive a written report summarizing the results, showing where
wireless access points should be placed, and showing the areas of
coverage that will result. Recommendations will be made to include
quantity of access point hardware, frequency needed, and type and
placement of antennas.
The survey will allow you to design your wireless network based
on a qualified plan for installation. The information you receive:
RF strength, interference, location, and area of coverage will be
documented for use in your planning and installation.
